ELLEM’s architecture, as presented at the Hannover Fair 2024, features robust integration of cutting-edge technologies, each supported by leading technology partners.

The interface combines automatic speech activity detection with OpenAI’s Speech-To-Text to provide the user with seamless, conversational voice-driven interactions with the avatar. Leveraging live server-side event streaming, it offers real-time insights into the technical processes under the hood.

The embeddings in ELLEM's architecture are powered by Nomic Embed, providing advanced mathematical representations of words or phrases as vectors. This captures the contextual relationships between words and allows the system to understand language semantics behind simple text.

Large Language Models, developed in partnership with Mistral, are trained on extensive datasets and generate coherent, human-like text. They perform various language-based tasks such as question answering and summarization, informed by the context provided by embeddings and inputs from Speech-To-Text (STT).

Text-to-Speech technology, developed with Microsoft, converts written text back into spoken words, boosting accessibility and enhancing the user experience by mimicking human intonation and emotion.
